As was recently proven with their blisteringly fast Hyper-X Solid State Drive, Kingston takes speed very seriously in their products. With this in mind they recently released two new memory products in the Hyper-X range.
The Hyper-X Red Limited Edition memory is aimed at the higher level of memory user with high speeds and high reliability. This reliability is extremely important for the enthusiast overclocker who needs stability. The Reds are also XMP ready, and thus ready for the big overclock jobs. They are available in 8GB and 4GB modules.
Following on from the Red Limited Edition we now also get the Hyper-X LoVo memory modules. The LoVo series has always been the Low Voltage modules from Kingston, but they now have the added performance expected of the Hyper-X brand. Running lower voltage means less heat and thus less cooling. This makes them ideal for passively cooled systems like home theater PCs. These green chips (literally and figuratively speaking) also come in 8GB and 4GB modules.
Next time you are in the market for a memory upgrade give the new Kingston Hyper-X range a good look! Expect to pay between R260 and R520 for the Hyper-X Red Limited Edition memory, and between R440 and R550 for the Hyper-X LoVo modules.
